to set Goals
In 5 easy steps
Goal --- GOAL mean what one intends to accomplish or attain.
The end toward which effort is being directed ----- AIM (to direct a course of action )
A goal is a specific act or action being directed towards a desired outcome or experience
synonyms INTENTION, INTENT, PURPOSE, DESIGN, AIM, END, OBJECT, OBJECTIVE, GOAL mean what one intends to Be and Do to accomplish or attain.
By having a specific desired outcome in mind gives AIM, INTENTION, PURPOSE to all the actions and efforts given to reaching ones OBJECTIVE which translates into something tangible. That which can readily be seen, known, felt and experienced.
Keep in mind always what the purpose of setting goals is all about. A really good metaphor for goal setting is

STATEMENT
This is part
is very IMPORTANT.
Now !!! Imagine
you are the
Architect. You are
the ONE in charge
of designing and
drawing up the
blue prints for bringing
in to physical
form everything
that you want. There is
no one else that can
design this blueprint
for you. JUST
YOU. There may be
others who can
assist you in
building your Design
-- what it
is that you
want. No one can know
what it that you
want ONLY YOU
TOOLS: you
will need Spiral
notebook and a pencil or
pen
STEP No. 1.
You must
write down on
paper everything that
you want or
even think that
you want. Never
be afraid of
wanting to much.
Use your imagination.
Leave nothing out. At
this point do
not censor or
leave out any desire
even if you think it will never
happen or that you cannot afford. There
does not have to be
any particular order just
write down what
ever comes to mind.

Remember this
list does not
have to be
in any particular order nor
does it have to
really make any
sense to you
right now. Every one should
have at least 20 to 30 things
on their list.
Do not put
a time frame
or limit on
these things that
you want. Do not try
and figure out
a way to
make this things happen.
Step No. 2
Now organize the list
in the order
of importance to you.
For instance if losing
20 lbs is more important to
you than driving
a new car
then put losing
20 above the
goal of having
a new car.
Just keep
working on your
list until you
feel satisfied with it.
There is no
right or wrong way.
Because it you
are the one deciding what
it is that
you are wanting.
It is
easy to talk
about what we
want -but something
happens when we try
to write down on paper exactly what it is
that we want.
Remember that GOAL mean
what one intends to accomplish or attain. So it
is possible to
work on more than
one goal at
a time. Many
goals are intertwined and overlap.

It HAS to
be what YOU want and
not what someone else wants for
you or what you
think will be
pleasing to someone else
other than yourself.
Step No. 3

You must
read this list of what
you want three times
a day
·
Morning

·
Think
about what you
want as often as
possible
·
DO Not
talk to any one about
the list what
you want
At least not
right now. Some of
your goals from the
practical reasoning stand point,
may seem positively unattainable, but, never the less write them down on your
list.
There
is no need to
try and analyze how
you are going
to accomplish the goals you
have listed on your list. Such
a procedure is
as unnecessary as
trying to figure out why a
grain of corn placed in fertile
soil with shoot
up a green
stalk and produce corn.
If you will follow these simple
steps, the method
of accomplishment will
unfold quite as mysteriously
as the
ear of corn appears
on the stalk,
and most cases
much sooner than you expect.
When new desires,
deserving position at
or about the
top of your
list, you may rest
assured that you
are progressing correctly.
Removing items from
your list that
at first you thought
you wanted is another
indication that you
are progress.
It is natural to
be skeptical and
have doubts, distrust
and questionings, but
when these thoughts arise,
get out your
list. Read it
over again. Or
if the list
is memorized repeat
it over to
your self until the
doubts are abated.
REMEMBER NOTHING CAN
PREVENT YOUR REACHING YOUR
GOALS.
Others reach their
goals WHY NOT YOU
??
Your list of
goals can be
for material things
such as health,
money, home, security, transportation
or those things
that do not
seem to be of a
material nature such as
improved relationships, more
harmony, more joy,
more excitement or
more peace.
ONCE your List of
Goals is complete
and you are
Doing STEP 3 it is
time
to work on
refining your goals by
giving more details
to each goal.
Step No. 4
Be more
definite if it
a new automobile
that you want, decide
on the what make, style, price, color this
is where setting
short term goals
and long term
goals inter the
picture.
For some to
see themselves as
getting the automobile
within a week
just will not FEEL
possible, so better
to give this
one over to
longer range.
Only you can
decide that for your self. If
it is a home
you want
then plan the
structure, the grounds
the furnishings, the location
and the cost.
It is money
then decide on the
amount and write it
down. If is
to set a
record in your business,
then put that down.
If it making
more sales then write
that down. At
first this will
sound very foolish.
If you cannot
decide what it is
that you want, then
you are not in
earnest about realizing
your goals. You can
never realize your goals
if you do
not KNOW positively
and in detail
what it is that you
want to accomplish.

wishes were horses
then beggars would
ride)
That which is most
commonly called the
Enemy is DOUBT.
That which is
thought of as the
Enemy works by
placing thoughts of
Doubt in your
mind thereby discrediting
or making your
goals appear as unattainable
or just as
stroke of chance.
STEP No 5
Very important
step after each
reading of your
list.
ALWAYS GIVE THANKS
FOR THE DIVINE
FULFILLMENT OF EACH
GOAL. Because being
Thankful and having
the Attitude of sincere
Gratitude makes what
at first appeared
as impossible suddenly
as if by
magic appear as
Possible.
Do
NOT try and
understand how all
your goals are
going to come
forth.
Rather just
work on developing the attitude of accomplishment with the FEELING
of Thankfulness and
Gratitude.
As you
read over your
list daily you will
find that some of
the goals will
take first place
and other will
drop down on
the list in
the order of
their importance. Some
will change all
together so that they
drop from you
list altogether.
A word
of caution: It
is possible to
want or set
goals which will
make you miserable:
goals that will
wreck the happiness or
others; that can create
sickness and even
death.
YOU CAN
HAVE WHAT YOU
WANT, BUT YOU
MUST TAKE ALL
THAT GOES WITH IT;
So in
setting you Goals
make sure that
there is no
thought of malice or
ill will towards
any of your
fellowman. Always seek
only the greatest
good for all
the earth.
As you
begin working on
setting your GOALS
you can expect
change. Some of
these changes may
appear as loss,
some changes may appear
as greater levels
of awareness or
understanding. When this
Happens you can
be sure that
you are right
on Track. Do
not be discouraged
on account of
changes, as this
is natural. There
will always be changes
and additions added
to set of
goals and some
just are not
there any more.
Read and
re-read your goals
daily cut out
pictures from magazines
of that are
what you want to
accomplish.
For instance
if one of your
goals is to
own a sports
car and you
have decided on
the make and
model the color
and etc. Then
go to a
dealership and test
drive one get
the Feel of what
it actually Feels
like. Get you
a picture that
shows the dash
board an then
put your picture
on it as
though you are
setting behind the
wheel driving your
new Sports car.
This is using
your imagination. AT
the present your
Goal has not
hardened into the
actual physical reality
of owning a
Sports Car. Goals are what
one
intends to accomplish or attain. Act
as if all
things are possible and
that nothing is impossible.
Learn to Be
definite about what
it is that
you want.
