The Telephone

If you are confident on the telephone or you have experience of working on the telephone you should skip this section.

Malcolm Peters put this together to help anyone who has difficulty in contacting and inviting by telephone. It is
not exceptional but I hope it can help some of you to master the telephone the most important business tool ever invented.

This section will help those of you who wish to call people you do not know. For example referrals from others, “opportunity seekers” from lists with telephone numbers, leads generated through your groups marketing activities, and those passed up to you by your new promoters!

Before we go into various guidelines on contacting and inviting people to go through the system, I would like to spend some time helping those of you who may have difficulty with this area of our
business.
The telephone is our most important asset. Together with the Internet it is changing the way in which people do business all over the world.

It allows you to work from home, (a small room, or a corner of your house is enough), yet you can take your message to anyone with a telephone globally. You can recruit, train and motivate people anywhere on this planet.

Learn to use the telephone properly and professionally and I assure you that you will be amazed with the results. As more than 95% of the business conducted in our organisation is on the telephone a few tips, hints and ideas may help you to hone your skills.

Develop your telephone skills for contacting and inviting and you will see a marked rise in your profits!
Do not be afraid to call people on the telephone, because you can control the situation with ease, once you learn some basic skills.
The key word is have CONFIDENCE in what you are doing and EXPECT REJECTION. (That “dirty” word which seems to destroy some people). The fact is that some people will reject what you have to offer. It is their right to do so.

Our business is not for everybody, and “EVERBODY IS NOT FOR US!” Just because someone is not prepared to listen to you at the very moment you call him or her, does not mean that they will not be ready in the future. Remember the timing of your call may not be right for your prospect, at that time, or a dozen other reasons may cause someone to say no. SO WHAT?

Some will, Some won’t. SO WHAT -someone out there is waiting for your call!
We are not looking for hundreds of people, just a few select, serious, open minded, individuals, who will see our opportunity and run with it.
